Oxford Spires Scout District

About Us

Oxford Spires is one of eight Scout Districts in Oxfordshire. Our District has seventeen Groups, from Botley in the west to Thame in the east and from Kidlington in the north to Kennington in the south.

Located at the heart of the County, we are a large and active District. We take part in all County events and get involved in everything that is going on, both locally and nationally.

Join: 6-25     Volunteer

Scouting is open to everyone: we welcome new members from the age of six, with no upper age limit for our adult volunteers. Scouting is open to both boys and girls and it makes no difference what background you come from, what language you speak, or what religion you are - within Scouting there is a place for everyone.

The Purpose of Scouting is to contribute to the development of young people and help them to reach their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential as individuals, as responsible citizens
and as members of their local, national and international communities.
