Satellite navigation systems booking

Oxford Spires Scout District has 10 eTrex® H satellite navigation systems that can be borrowed for Scouting purposes.

What are they for?
They can be used for a range of activities including:

Geocaching: Geocaching is a free, real world, outdoor treasure bunt. Players try to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, using a smart phone or GPS and can then share their experiences online. You can find out more on the Geocaching website, including some FAQs.

Supporting remote supervision: Providing your teams with a satellite navigation system can allow them to locate themselves in an emergency and, through the use of mobile phones and texting, keep you updated.

How do I borrow them?
To borrow all or some of the satellite navigation systems, please complete the online booking form.

Once you have submitted your request you should receive a confirm entry email within five days. If you have not received an email, or have any questions please contact: Shane Clark, DESC - explorers@oxfordspires.org.uk (07724 100052).
