District Cub Chess - Cancelled

Due to a lack of teams this event has been cancelled.


The Basics
Date: Saturday 23rd November 2019
Start/Finish: 13.45-16.00
Location: 40th Oxford HQ, Otters Reach, Kennington, Oxford OX1 5QL
There is parking at the venue but we advise people car share where possible as it is limited.
Cost:  
£2 per Cub, payable on the day (see below for details and about cancellations*)
Bring:  
Each team should bring a chess set with them.
Information for Leaders
Participation can go towards the Hobbies Activity Badge.

How many?
Packs can enter as many teams of 3 as they like and each team needs to bring a chess set with them.

How do we book?
Teams will consist of 3 Cubs.

Leaders must reply to the email to book their team(s) attendance.

How do we pay?
Please note that payment (£2 per Cub) must be paid on the day.  Payment covers the costs of the event.

Adult help needed
If anyone would be able to adjudicate on the day (e.g. parents who can play!) please do get in touch.  If anyone is / knows someone who is able to help please ask them to contact the District Cub Advisors (cubs@oxfordspires.org.uk) to offer their assistance!

Each attending Pack must also have at least one adult with them who will be responsible for their Cubs on the day and knows each of them.
